August Tip: Marketing for Actors

Marketing is important to any business, but especially so for actors. The Internet has provided people with more opportunity than ever to reach out to just about anyone! Facebook, free blogs, Twitter and other social networking sites are just a few examples.

If you haven't begun exploring any of these options as a way to promote you and your work start now! Launch your own website to display your photos, resume and demo reel. Upload your reel on YouTube, Actors Access and/or IMDB. And link like crazy with industry people/companies to really get yourself out there. Not only does it give you more exposure, but it helps others too. The more connected everyone is, the easier to make connections; it's the future, and it's now!
